She will lead you through the making of small quilts/table toppers, and then how to figure the number of blocks needed for a pieced border. With that skill, you will be able to fit any border to any top, as well as make coping strips to make size adjustments.

 | Dear Jane Block of the Month
If you love Civil War-era quilts, you've probably seen pictures of the 1863 Jane Stickle quilt. This wonderful quilt is made up of 169 unique pieced blocks and bordered with 56 cut triangle blocks with scalloped edges. Are you ready to make an heirloom reproduction of the original? Join us and make your own "Baby Jane" using traditional Civil War fabrics or anything else that tickles your fancy! We will be sewing our blocks much the same way Jane did–by hand (but with the aid of modern tools). Each month you will be given directions for 5 blocks to make with your own fabrics. Confident Beginner Skill Level.

| Skinny Quilts
This is a new series of classes for the novice quilter. The projects are small and will be taken from the book Skinny Quilts. The classes will progress from very simple piecing to more difficult, from simple quilting and even other techniques such as appliqué. You can start at any point that you wish and continue for as long as you wish. This class uses just a sewing machine and all of the techniques will be learned on your machine.
