Georgia M

Georgia teaches a wide variety of classes, including the BERNINA Machine Mastery classes on all Sewing and Embroidery machines, Sergers and Embroidery Software.  She is an expert on any of the BERNINA machines.  Georgia has the reputation of being able to solve almost every situation within the line of  BERNINA products. She also teaches creative classes such as a piecing all types of quilts, embroidery, creative construction and reconstruction of garments.  She frequently hosts special events that can encompass embroidery, sewing, serging and software.  Georgia teaches at other BERNINA dealerships within the state of Arizona.

Kat L

Kat has been involved in sewing with BERNINAs for over 40 years.  She started out sewing all her own clothes and quickly moved into alterations and wedding apparel for others.  She has always enjoyed all types of piecing, appliquing and machine quilting.  An avid hand embroiderer, she quickly made the transition to machine embroidery with the purchase of her first embroidery machine.  She has taught sewing classes at the college level and at fabric stores in the past.  She is also an avid hand knitter and has more and varied pets than she probably needs.

Jan G
Jan has been involved in sewing instruction for 30 plus years.  She has owned BERNINA sewing machines since that time.  Jan likes a variety of sewing techniques such as clothing, embellishment, quilting, machine embroidery and embroidery software.   Jan is an accomplished free motion quilter, and teaches the Skillbuilder, Advanced Skillbuilder, Thread Painting and the BERNINA Stitch Regulator (BSR) Mastery classes.

Joan C

Joan started sewing her own clothes and also taught heself knitting, crewel and counted thread embroidery.  Joan and her husband moved to Alaska in 1979, where she quickly learned the importance of having indoor activities to keep her busy during the long, dark, cold winter days.  but it wasn't until 2002 that she took her first quilting class.  Joan is our resident expert in all forms of applique, and teaches many classes, including several block of the month programs.  She also teaches our Bag Lady class, showcasing a different bag each month.  Joan is very involved in the quilt guilds in the area.   She still finds time for her knitting and counted cross stitch, but her biggest love is quilting.

Joanne N

Joanne  worked for over 30 years in industrial sales, but always had a hobby, be it knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, or photography, often all at the same time. When a friend offered to teach her how to quilt, she jumped at the chance and has never lost the enthusiasm for it.  She took classes in many different types of quilting, finding landscape quilts, photo transfer and fabric painting of special interest.  After moving to Prescott Valley from the Seattle, WA, area five years ago, she found more time to play and experiment with these and other techniques.  She loves to incorporate photography, which she still loves, with her quilting.  She enjoys sharing her experiences with others.
